Announcing…

Welcome to The Compost Library :) We are an open access social enterprise curated by Worms with the aim to help YOU discover how to reap the personal/social/political/everything benefits of reading and writing.

Co-founded by Clem Macleod and Pierce Eldridge, Compost Library is stewarded by the literary works and thinkings of Silvia Federici, Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick, Simone Weil, Kathleen Cleavers, bell hooks, Joy James, and many others.

With focus on radical participation and co-creation, we gather, share, listen and collectively imagine literary futures.

WRITE what’s RIGHT

In May 2023, we are launching our first course at Young Space in De Beauvoir, London. The ‘Write what’s RIGHT’ course invites participants to establish a personal writing practise to help explore and expand their creative self. Based on the teachings of Julia Cameron in her seminal self-help book ‘The Artist’s Way,’ ‘WRITE what’s RIGHT’ is a 7-week intensive course that aims to bring clarity to it’s students’ lives via establishing a personal writing practise.

April in the Worms Book Club brought us Porn: An Oral History by Polly Barton. Thank you to everyone who came to our first in person book club, was so nice to see your lovely faces in the flesh and those who joined virtually too! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

For May we’re reading Simple Passion by Annie Ernuax and continuing our sexy reading streak for one more month.
